In a Nutshell

 

Nestlé KitKat were looking to launch an online experience that would allow them to play in a space previously untouched by the classic chocolate wafer biscuit. I led the Experience Deisgn team, guiding them through the phases of design, from discovery and definition, to developing the design and supporting the engineering team based in Cape Town. The primary deliverable was a full design system and functional specification.

 
 
 
 

Challenge

Help users discover, personalise and purchase KitKat’s new range of bespoke products - allowing them to ‘Create their own break’ and send them as a gift or gift box.

Solution

A complete ecommerce experience, using highly crafted modular components, as part of a fully detailed and robust design system, allowing Nestlé to recreate the ‘web shop’ for all of their confectionary brands.
